The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding sprinklers to a new chemical storage area. The HMIS is attached to the case. The owner has indicated that the "Chemicals are in 50 gallon plastic drums stored upright on pallets in racks, one pallet on floor, another over it in racking all over individual containment sumps." A connection to an existing 4" main will supply a new side feed system. The storage of the 1B liquids are for one level high only, of containers, on pallets; not on racks.

Darigold - Chemical Storage Room Addition - To make the existing 400 square foot, dock on the north side of the building permanent and to construct a 600 square foot, one story chemical storage room on the west side of the dock. The storage room and dock addition are constructed of masonry and steel stud exterior walls and steel roof joists with metal roofing over plywood roof deck. This permit also includes the construction of a secondary containment area around the "courtyard" on the interior of the building surround.
