The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of relocating and adding sprinklers to an existing building as a tenant improvement. The work is in the hydraulic most remote area. New hydraulic will be provided since the existing system was designed very close to the available water supply. The sprinkler spacing is based on light hazard and was designed for 196sf per sprinkler. The existing tree system was reported as .10/945 +100 hose. The water supply was reported as S-60 @ Q- 2000, 08-06-1997. The project is located on the third floor of a three-floor building. The new flow test is S-60, R-20, Q-2250, 04-19-10. The system was recalculated, see below.
(EMPLOYER'S - RIVER QUARRY BLDG C-STE 320) Permit is to remodel an existing 4,544 square foot office tenant space by selective demolition to increase the size to 5,532 square feet. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: demolition of interior non-bearing walls to expand into adjacent area (BLD10-00624 has construction of new partition wall), [construction of interior non-bearing walls to create four new offices, a lobby, and a storage room], relocate existing lighting, installation of new doors and hardware, installation of new exit signage and emergency lighting, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. **TLW**
