Description |
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of fire protection for a new addition. The new addition contains a spray booth. The area above and surrounding the booth will be protected as ordinary hazard group II. The spray booth will be protected as Extra Hazard II. A loop will be provided to control the spray booth. The new addition will be connected to the existing riser.
Plan Mod 1 Scope:
The spray booth was changed to a downdraft. Therefore, the fire protection design required alterations. An exception was given to protect just protect below the filter and not above. This was due to impractically reasons since the underground is existing. The sprinklers will be no more than 12” below the deck. Therefore, it is anticipated that the sprinkler actuation time will not be impaired. This exception was approved by the fire code official. The prep area was also redesigned due to field conditions. Ballooned areas reviewed
Plan Mod 2 Scope:
Revised pipe sizes and minor layout changes.
