This fire alarm permit is to provide notification devices to accommodate a tenant improvement. These new devices will be added to an existing spare circuit on the NAC panel installed under FIR10-00290.

Associated building permit: BLD10-00960 (The Caprock Group) - The fire sprinkler system substitutes for the 1-hr fire-resistance-rating of the building structure. To remodel an existing 4,000 square foot, office tenant space, on the second floor, of an existing building. Work to include: minor demolition per plans; construct new 2X4, wood, interior non-bearing, partition walls to create a storage room and an open office area; construct a partial height wall for an entry feature; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC; repair and replace existing ceiling system as required; upgrade the lighting layout; modify the existing exit lighting; plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work. All work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the fire sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department and will require a separate permit. **SRZ**
