This quick permit is to relocate an existing speaker strobe on the 19th floor, add a speaker strobe and increase the candela rating on another on the 20th floor to accomodate a tenant improvement. Initiating devices are not part of this permit scope of work. There are no written review comments. Approval is subject to field measurement of the EOL voltage drop. The voltage drop calculations are based on a 10% drop, therefore the minimum acceptable voltage is 21.6V with the AC power off. Any measurement below this voltage will be considered insufficient to run the NACs at the end of useful battery life of 20.4V. UL 864, Standard for Control Units for Fire Signaling Systems. Permit BLD10-01203 was issued to fill in the opening between the 18th and 19th and move in a new tenant into the 18th floor area. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file.
