2-8-11: PLAN MODIFICATION (2 initiating devices affected): This plan modification is to incorporate previous review comments, field modifications to the notification, and show the addition of two duct detectors.

This fire alarm permit is to provide notification and initiating devices to accommodate a tenant improvement. Devices include all new horn/strobes (any existing notification devices are to be removed), pull stations, HVAC monitoring, and in-duct detectors for new F/S dampers. The notification devices are to be connected to new remote power supplies. The initiating devices are to be connected to the existing fire alarm signal line circuit. This building does not require the full manual system (only sprinkler monitoring, elevator recall, and HVAC), however it was requested by the customer.
Associated building permit: BLD10-00043 (ST. LUKE'S - CENTRAL LAUNDRY FACILITY) Remodel of existing 62,500 sq. ft. building for new laundry facility per approved plans. Demolition work done under separate permit, BLD09-02081. Work to include construction of non-combustible frame, drywall and finish of interior walls to create admin area, break, boiler, maintenance and lockers rooms; create receiving, dirty laundry, clean laundry, folding and shipping work areas; future offices on the first and second floor; stairs to a mechanical mezzanine and structural upgrades at existing roof structure for equipment and lateral support; reinforced concrete drainage trench & pit; and new footings, foundations, reinforced CMU and structural steel for new entry and entry covers. Work on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarms systems and accessibility compliance throughout the building. Special Inspections required as outlined on Sheet S-001 and attached "Project Start Up For Special Inspections" form. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Drs
