The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating and removing sprinklers due to new ceiling configuration. All walls are existing.
Building Department Scope:
(US BANK - Shell and Core - 19th and 20th Floors) Permit is to upgrade the restrooms on the 20th floor, renovate the hallway on the 20th, and add a drinking fountain on the 19th floor. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work is to include: installation of new accessible bathroom fixtures, [demolition of existing restroom, small walls in hallway, and wood trim], installation of new standard height drinking fountain on the 19th floor, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. **TLW**
Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:
The system is supplied from (2) fire pumps (750 Gpm @ 200 Psi) located in the basement. Water flow information is S-55, R-20, Q-3000. The calculated pipe sizes are (3) sprinklers from 1", (5) sprinklers from 1ΒΌ" supplied from a 2" loop with 3" main and 6" standpipe.
