The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding pendent sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The walls do NOT go to the deck therefore the upright sprinklers will remain unchanged. Most of the sprinklers are being supplied from existing arm overs. Some of the sprinklers will be installed on mechanical tees.

Building Department Scope:

(Wilson & McColl) This building is fire sprinklered for code trade-offs. To construct a 2,625 square foot office tenant space on the 2nd story of a 21,000 square foot 3 story building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board soffits, millwork, and finishes. The restrooms, drinking fountain, and service sink were installed under the shell permit (BLD07-03134). All work per the approved plans, the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This building is Fully Fire Sprinkered ANY ALTERATIONS TO THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT, and shall comply and be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

Hydraulics were neither supplied nor required. The existing system is a 3" x 3" x 1 ½" grid with a 3" riser and 6" underground.
