The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing extended coverage sprinklers to protect a new storage area in an existing building. The storage is group A plastic on single row racks. Storage height is 13’-5” with < 5’ clearance to the deck. There will be no solid shelved or plastic pallets and no idle pallet storage. The existing fire protection is being removed and capped. The work will begin at an existing 8” riser new 6” main will supply 3” branch lines. Per the designer, the space is compartmentized therefore; the protection was not needed to extend 15’ into the other spaces.
