The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of repiping eight sprinklers that were removed in permit FIR10-00547. The sprinklers were removed so that the roof could be raised. The roof has been raised and the sprinklers are being reinstalled.

The existing branch lines and heads were demo under permit FIR10-00547.

Building Department Scope:

Darigold - Raise Roof Area - To raise the roof of an area of approximately 515 square feet to a new clear ceiling height of 19 feet. The supported raised walls will be steel studs with gypsum board finish. The work also includes removing and repouring approximately 555 square feet of concrete slab floor. The new raised roof area room is approximately 515 square feet with 120 square feet of that area being a new raised dock/platform area. The area will be used as a new batch tank room. The room is located in the northwest portion of the building, east of the current break room. This building is fully fire sprinkled. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

The pipe sizes that were used to reinstall the piping are the same as what was previously installed therefore hydraulic calculations were not required.
