2-14-11: PLAN MODIFICATION #2 (no initiating devices affected). This plan modification is just to provide original documentation in addition to the plan modification information in order to match the scope of work. No written review comments. 1-19-11 PLAN MODIFICATION (no initiating devices affected): This plan modification to the original quick permit is to relocate notification devices due to walls being relocated and/or demo'd since the original permit was pulled. 11-22-10:This quick permit is to add/relocate/replace notification devices as needed to accomodate a tenant remodel. Approval is subject to field measurement of the EOL voltage drop. For appliances with an operating voltage range of 16V – 33V, the minimum acceptable voltage is 19.6V with the AC power off. Any measurement below this voltage will be considered insufficient to run the NACs at the end of useful battery life of 20.4V. UL 864, Standard for Control Units for Fire Signaling Systems. The installing contractor shall have available at final inspection a voltage meter and measure end of line voltages; witnessed by the field inspector. There are no written review comments. Associated building permit: BLD10-02598 (HEWLETT PACKARD - BLDG 7 - NEARLINE TAPE LABS) The scope of this project is to infill four doors demo about 50 ft of wall relocate three sets of double doors add about 25 ft of new wall all work per city approved plans.

The latest plan modifications took out some of the scope of work. Plans will need to be resubmitted showing all of the fire alarm work or an additional permit will be required for this work. I went ahead and witnessed the functionality of the notification circuit. To final this permit plans will just need to match the work performed.
