The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating and deleting sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.


Building Department Scope:

(J. CREW - BOISE TOWNE SQUARE MALL - FIRST STORY - SPACE 1101) The fire sprinkler system is required because this is a covered mall building. To combine 2 existing tenant spaces into one 4,750 square foot retail sales tenant space. Work is to include interior nonbearing metal stud walls, FRT wood blocking in some walls, a single user employee restroom accessible to the disabled, a fitting room accessible to the disabled, wood flooring, suspended gypsum board ceilings, suspended acoustical ceilings, a 60 minute fire door in the wall of an existing 1-hr fire-resistance-rated exit passageway, a movable storage shelving system, sales shelving, sales fixtures, millwork, full height glass storefront windows, and wood entrance doors. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. The smoke control system is required to be maintained operational as originally approved. **CJW**
