THE FIRE PROTECTION SCOPE OF WORK DOES NOT MATCH THE BUILDING DEEPARTMENT SCOPE OF WORK BELOW. Field inspector please, visually verify that all new walls have adequate fire protection.

(DILLARD’S – 1st Floor) To remodel an existing 75,245 square foot first floor retail area in an existing three story 186,539 square foot anchor store building. Work to include: installation of interior non-bearing partition walls to redefine the sales floor, installation of new flooring throughout, modify existing suspended ceiling system per CISCA 0-2, new lighting, rearrange fixture layout, and interior finishes in compliance with ch. 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. The design, testing and utilization of industrial steel storage racks shall be in accordance with the RMI Specification for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks. Any racks exceeding 8 ft in height will require a separate racking permit. **TLW**
