The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating and deleting sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling constructions. The new and existing walls go to the ceiling. There is protection below the ceiling only.


Building Department Scope:

Permit is to combining suite 300 with suite 304 to create a 6,787 square feet office space. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and plan review report. Work to include: installation / demolition of interior partition walls, installation of new lighting, installation of new doors / accessible hardware, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department.**TLW**


Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

The existing system is a double tree with 2½” feed and cross mains, the branch lines are telescoping. This project is located on the 3rd floor of the five story building. The building is equipped with a 750 Gpm @ 70 Psi fire pump. The changes do not required a new set of hydraulic calculations.
