The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of changing all sprinklers on the fourth floor and fourth floor mezzanine to quick response type. In addition, three sprinklers will be plugged and one new upright added due to a ceiling area being removed.


Building Department Scope:

There is no associate building permit. The work is entirely fire sprinkler related.


Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

The existing demand was reported as 395.3 Gpm @ 46.6 Psi. The new flow test information (green curve) provided is less than the original flow test (blue dashed). However, the demand is still below the available water supply curve (red curve). (See curve below) Therefore, new hydraulic calculations are not necessary.
