The Fire Protection Scope of work consists of a HFC-125 clean agent system to protect an equipment room. Four 180º nozzle is being utilized with fourteen existing and seven new photoelectric smoke detectors for actuation. There is a Vesda system for the hvac only to act as an early warning system.


Building Department Scope:

Permit is to remodel an existing equipment room area. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: demolition of existing non-bearing walls, construction of new interior non-bearing wall, installation of a new lighting, minor electrical work, minor mechanical work, and interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**

Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

The room is designed for a minimum concentration of 8.35% at 70ºF in a room of 22545.90 Ft³ in 9.77 seconds utilizing 604# of agent from a 1000# cylinder.
