This fire alarm permit is to provide a new duct detector with remote test switch for HVAC monitoring/shutdown, and to tie the new device in to a new zone on an existing fire alarm panel. The duct detector is powered by 120V (not off of the fire alarm panel).

This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase and nonseparated uses. Scope of work includes: {installation of new non bearing interior partition walls creating two accessible to the disabled restrooms, a shampoo area, a tanning room, a break room, a mechanical room, and the main floor area}, installation of an accessible sales and service counter, installation of new plumbing, installation of new lighting, installation of new accessible doors / hardware, and interior finishes per Ch. 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system.
