The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing fire protection above and below in a three level building. Extended coverage and Coin sprinklers are being utilized. The parking garage is protected by a dry system. Portions of the systems are designed with residential sprinklers utilizing CPVC piping.

Building Department Scope:

To construct a three story, 53 unit, senior apartment housing with enclosed parking and associated amenities, a total area of 60,279 sq. ft. (1st - 22,940 sf / 2nd - 18,737 sf / 3rd - 18,602 sf). There are 52 units of 614 sf and 1 unit of 772 sf. There are three Type 'A' Accessible units and 50 Type 'B' Accessible units. Building is wood frame non-rated construction, fully sprinklered with NFPA 13 system; 1/2 hour fire-resistive fire partitions for corridor wall & corridor lid construction; walls between sleeping units / dwelling units shall be 1/2 hour fire-resistive fire partitions; 1/2 hour horizontal fire-resistive assembly between units and between other occupancies unless a full 1-hour assembly is required to separate mixed use occupancies; 1-hour fire-resistive fire barrier walls and 1-hour fire-resistive horizontal assemblies between mixed use occupancies of "A" & "R" and "R" & "S2" (sheet A0.1) and at stair enclosure separation. Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm systems; interior finishes and millwork in accordance with reviewed plans and all attached plan reviews and red-lined comments of all reviewing agencies. drs
