The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of changing ALL pendent sprinklers to quick response type. No other fire protection modifications are planned.


Building Department Scope:

(KIM'S KARE-A-LOT) New daycare tenant in existing 5,310 sq. ft. space within existing strip mall shopping center. Work to include select non-structural demolition; construction of a 2-hour fire-resistive Fire Wall to divide existing building for compliance with allowable area; modify front exterior wall and overhang projection to be 1-hour fire resistive construction with 3/4 hour rated windows, doors and hardware in the front wall on both sides of fire wall for the depth of the projection (approx. 10'); remove indicated interior windows and replace with safety glass; modify all interior doors & openings to provide 32" clear width; lever hardware on interior doors This tenant space will be separated on north side from other tenants with newly constructed 2-hour fire wall creating two separate buildings in compliance with area provisions. The only non-complying building for area is the existing Shopko building that was originally constructed in Ada County.
