The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling construction.


Building Department Scope:

(LIBERTY MUTUAL) Remodel an existing 2,650 sq. ft. office area (formerly Starbucks) in combination with removal of interior wall to expand new office for Liberty Mutual into adjoining vacant tenant space adding 1,073 sq. ft. for a total area 3,723 sq. ft. office tenant on the first floor of an existing building per approved plans. This permit is attached to the same set of plans used to create permit BLD11-02750 reducing the existing vacant tenant space area to approximately 1,908 sq. ft. vanilla finish space being created by the expansion for Liberty Mutual. Work to include select interior demolition; construction of new 29.5 ft. by full height wall to separate tenant spaces; construct interior non-bearing walls to create reception area, conference / small meeting / break / mail / storage / telecom / private office rooms; S.A.T. ceiling grid, bracing, new /relocated luminaries and mechanical fixtures; interior cabinetry, floor and wall finishes; interior access/egress doors, frames and hardware; modifications to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, sprinkler & alarm systems. Redline notes on approved plans and all attached plan review comments of all reviewing agencies are part of the approved plans requiring compliance.
NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered to take advantage of special code allowances when sprinklers are provided (non-rated corridor, exit separation reduction, openings between floors, etc.). drs

Need to provide retaining straps and correct hanger attachment to the deck for the pendant in the closet. Currently the all thread rod has been bent on this hanger. Re-inspection has been scheduled for this afternoon.
