The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating and deleting sprinklers due to new wall and ceiling configuration. The entire building has been reviewed. There are a number of suspended ceiling areas with standard spacing QR sprinklers. There are several large (open to deck) areas that will also be used for light hazard. The open areas have extended coverage SR sprinklers. Since these areas will be light hazard the standard response sprinklers shall be changed to quick response sprinklers. The existing system is a 3”x3”x2” grid.


Building Department Scope:

(SYBASE) To remodel an existing 16,365 sq. ft. office building for a new tenant. Approval Contingent upon complying with the approved plans. Work includes: [construction of full height interior non-bearing walls to create new offices, new men’s locker room, a break room, and two breakout rooms], new system furniture, minor electrical, new plumbing, new accessible doors / hardware, remodel mechanical system, and interior finishes in accordance with ch. 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
