The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, relocating and plugging sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The existing hydraulic calculations for remote area 5 were .20/1592+250 the demand was 683.6 Gpm@58.4 Psi. The original flow information was S-70, R-20, Q-2750 & D-09/27/2004. The current water supply is S-80, R-20, Q-2750 & D-05/07/2012. Since the occupancy is still Ordinary Hazard II and the flow information is slightly better, new hydraulic calculations were deemed not necessary.

Contractor’s Note:
The building permit has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.
