This fire alarm permit is to add an addressable expansion module to the existing FACP to accommodate elevator recall and shunt trip functions due to an elevator upgrade. This site has an existing AES RF radio instead of a DACT that shall remain. This scope of work includes control relays, smoke detectors, a new connection to monitor trouble on the existing AES, and includes replacing an existing heat detector. There is no associated building permit.
NOTE: The original fire alarm system was installed under FIR09-00175, and at the time smoke detectors were not required above the FACP.
