This quick permit is to add notification to the existing fire alarm system to accomodate a tenant improvement. There are no initiating devices in this scope of work. Approval is subject to field measurement of the EOL voltage drop. The voltage drop calculations are based on a 10% drop, therefore the minimum acceptable voltage is 21.6V with the AC power off. Any measurement below this voltage will be considered insufficient to run the NACs at the end of useful battery life of 20.4V (per UL 864, Standard for Control Units for Fire Signaling Systems). See NFPA 72 2010 Handbook 18.3.2.3 for further assistance with calculations. There are no written review comments. Associated building permit: BLD13-00125
