Service Elevator Machine room on the 11th floor east was found to have a crawl space between the 11th floor and the top of the shaft. This area has 2 sprinkler heads in it. During annual State elevator inspection this crawl space was inspected and noted. The space is identical to the shaft ceiling. This permit is to add 2 heat detectors next to the fire sprinkler heads per code and also 2 smokes to cover area. No associated building permit.
