The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for story increase. To construct an 11,371 square foot medical office tenant space on the 21,952 square foot 3rd story of an existing medical office building. A common corridor will be constructed on the 3rd story to connect the stairway enclosures. This facility is classified as an outpatient clinic where no one is rendered incapable of self-preservation by the services provided. Work is to include 6 single user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
