The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a new single-family residence. An 1 ½” underground pipe will supply an 1 ¼” and 1” system with extended coverage residential sprinklers spaced at 20’x20’

Plan Mod #1 – 9/16/2014
1. The riser was changed from CPVC pipe to Black Steel Sch 40.
2. The Garage is not heated and the pipe is tented. The builder was originally going to build a heated chase for the pipe above the garage.
3. The trusses changed multiple times from 4” to 6”. In order to have the concealed heads installed so they are flush with the ceiling 90° Elbows were added instead of bowing the pipe up and over the 6” trusses. The additional 90° Elbows are shown on the plan and are in the hydraulic calculations.
4. (2) pieces of pipe that are shown on the approved plan as 1¼” were installed as 1” pipe. This change is reflected on the drawing and in the calculations.
5. The pipe was re-routed to keep it from freezing atmospher. The new pipe layout is shown on the drawings and in the hydraulic calculations.

WUI ZONE A, Inspector to verify truss loading includes the 12psf of additional dead load for tile roofing. The truss details and layout are uploaded in documents that were used for plan review. Under side of eves 1x6 fire retardant treated cedar. Permit for the construction of a new 4748 sq. ft., two story (below grade 1308 sq. ft., grade level 3440 sq. ft.) single family dwelling with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, approximately 1,058 sq. ft. of covered patio/porch and a 1592 sq. ft. attached garage per the approved plans, plan review report, res check, structural engineering, Evaluation report for spay insulation and any notations. A-1 zoning and setbacks per planning. Inspector may request the designer and or engineer on site during the construction for issues as he determines. AJS
