The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

NOTE: This project is a change of use, therefore, shall comply with current code. (Ref: IFC 2012: 102.3)

(Phase one) remodel the northern 30,000 sf (approximate) of existing parkcenter mall building, and modify the site to accommodate drop-off/pick-up area and a playfield where the former bank pad stood. Interior construction to include demolition of all partition walls, interior finishes, etc. and the construction of new partition walls to form 24 classrooms, 3 offices, 2 banks of restrooms, staff room, and commons/lunch room. Insert windows in identified exterior walls to bring light into classrooms. Replace parapet cap. Paint all exterior walls and parapet cap. Replace roof on entire building.

Inspection for cover at grid ceilings completed to date- Items noted include; insufficient coverage the janitors and IT rooms due to OTS ceiling configuration, need to add upright coverage at a concealed space overbuild above classroom 119. Commons classroom, corridor grid, and main tie-in above the 5th grade classroom are not yet finished. Verified added uprights along the north and south main corridor rated walls. Discussed hydrostatic testing per review notes and NFPA guidelines. Need record drawings for field modifications. Remainder of classrooms approved for ceiling cover as noted on plans.
