This is to change 27 sprinkler heads from SR pendent to QR uprights with guard while the ceiling grid is demoed. Once the ceiling grid is reinstalled New QR pendent will be installed in new ceiling grid. Also part of the float main and line will be removed for structural work then reinstalled when structural work is complete.

(BOISE CITY HALL – Phase II Code Improvements) The main scope of work within this permit is to upgrade the existing parking garage, Annex and CH2 to make them more seismically resistant. A tenant improvement for a portion of the HR Dept in the Annex is also included within this scope of work. Work is to include: [structural upgrades including: new concrete sheer walls, new collectors, repair concrete beams, and concrete deck repair], [construction of interior non-bearing walls to create eight private offices, a conference room, and a copy room], exterior site improvements, and interior finishes. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
