Description
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of resupplying an existing system. There are three building (8481, two-story office and 8455). Currently the supply for the two-story is from building 8418. The two-story office supply is being rerouted, to be supplied from building 8455. The sprinklers are to remain as in. Floor control valves are being added to the two-story office. A new backflow preventer is being added to the riser. New hydraulic calculations were provided based on BMC minimum warehouse design. The two-story office has a new center rail main added to each level of the existing grids.

This permit is NOT approved for occupancy. Exact description of storage and storage arrangement shall be submitted and approved before occupancy can occur.

(DEMOLITION FOR WARHOUSE DIVISION - NO TENANT) Fire sprinklers used for building area increase. To perform interior non-structural demolition, to demolish interior mezzanines in their entirety, and to demolish an enclosed link between two portions of the building in its entirety. Interior demolition work includes removing a suspended acoustical ceiling grid and the removal of an access floor structure. The work is being done to prepare for dividing this building by a property line so that the separate buildings can be sold to different owners. Fire-resistance-rated firewalls, party walls, and property line walls will be created under a future permit. New work is not authorized under this permit. This permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. The fire sprinkler system is required to be maintained operational and compliant as required by the Fire Department. **CJW**
