The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of C23941 B2/B3 Mask Remodel - B2 1St Floor - Remove (E) sprinklers and piping to allow for installation of new cleanroom grid. Install (N) laterals and sprinklers, approximately 15,000sf.
NOTE: The Owner’s Representative has indicated that flammable liquids in substantial quantities are not used in the etching process. Therefore, the IFC flammable liquids section does not apply.
Contractor’s Note:
The building permit has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.
Micron Building 2 and 3 - (C23941) – B 2 & 3 Remodel to existing H-5 Area that is actual split into two separate buildings to comply with building area provisions. To remodel the entire 39,000 square foot first floor area and a large area of the second floor. These buildings are sprinklered based on “H” occupancy requirements. The work includes: construction of new interior partitions, installation of new lighting, installation of new plumbing, installation of new HEPA ceiling system, installation of new mechanical, installation of new accessible doors / hardware, installation of new “Service Corridor”, installation of new chemical storage rooms, and interior finishes. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
