The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a 9-story structure (Office) and adjoining 5-story structure (Annex). This review is for level 1 of the office structure and levels 1 and 2 of the annex structure. This submittal also encompasses a 1000 Gpm @ 149 Psi fire pump and two 8” underground supply mains from two different city mains. There are standpipes throughout however; they are not being submitted at this time. There are dry pipe as well as wet system. The design is based on light and ordinary hazard II. There are some wet mains that run through freezing areas. The wet mains are being protected from freezing by a listed heat tracing system. (Since the fire protection system is dependent upon the heat tracing system, this permit cannot be approved until the heat tracing system is submitted and approved)

SIMPLOT OFFICE Tenant Improvement - This permit is to finish a new 306,345 square foot, nine story office building for occupancy. The first floor will have a large lobby area, customer experience area and office and training areas. There will be a wellness center at the south end of the main building. Separate tenant improvement permits will be required to finish the future coffee shop, incubator space and future restaurant at the first floor of the annex. The second floor of the main building will be office space. The second floor of the annex will have a large lobby, a multipurpose assembly room and an auditorium. The third floor of the main building will be office space. The fourth floor of the main building will be office space. The fourth floor of the annex is a restaurant with a full kitchen and large exterior patio seating area. The fifth floor of the main building will be office space. The fifth floor of the annex has a kitchen, office areas and a greenhouse. The greenhouse structure is deferred and has not been reviewed or approved. The sixth floor will be office space with an exterior deck at the south end of the floor. The seventh floor will be office space with a large conference room, a kitchen and exterior decks at the east and west ends of the floor. The eighth floor will be office space. The ninth floor will be office space. The core areas were completed under the shell and core permit BLD14-02173. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM

Partial rough to cover approved for underground supply mains, holes were still being cored in the footing for the stub in to the building at tine of inspection. Cover is approved up to the 90 degree fittings for the stub in, contractor will schedule inspection for complete cover when thrust blocks/piping is installed for stub in through footing.
