[The District at Park Center - Cottage Building C - #1]
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a two level apartment building per NFPA 13R. The system is supplied by 4”x100’ ± C-900 underground piping. Extended coverage residential sprinklers and CPVC piping are being utilized.

(THE DISTRICT AT PARKCENTER - COTTAGE BUILDING C - #1) (The drawings are filed under permit BLD14-01818 in ePlanReview) To construct a 9 dwelling unit two story apartment building with seven units having their own garage (i.e. 7 garages). Two dwelling units will not have garages. The total floor area of this building is about 12,487 square feet (8,080 square feet 1st story and 4,407 square feet 2nd story). All ground floor units within Cottage Building C - #1 are required to comply as Type B dwelling units. Two ground floor units within Cottage Building A - #2 are required to comply as Type A dwelling units. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 1-hr bearing walls, 1-hr roof-ceiling assemblies, 1-hr floor-ceiling assemblies, 1-hr dwelling unit separations, attic insulation, interior doors, exterior windows and doors, insulated exterior walls, “Hardi-board” exterior siding, exterior manufactured stone wainscot, composition roof shingles, common stairways within 1-hr corridors open to the outside, private interior stairways, garages, garage overhead doors, millwork, and finishes. Structural work includes concrete footings, concrete stem walls, concrete floor slabs on grade with thickened footings at interior bearing walls, wood floor trusses, wood roof trusses, wood columns, wood beams, and shear walls. Special inspection is required for soils, concrete, and wood. The designs for the roof trusses and floor trusses are deferred submittal items. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13R as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

The tenting inspection on Cottage C #1 failed due to tenting not be adequate with arm overs not tented on the second floor and the insulation in many place not secured and just laying on the pipe.
