No fire sprinkler installed in riser room, heads need to be installed for room protection. No head box/extra heads in riser room, additonal cover for underground supply has not been added, additional soil needs to be added for proper cover as noted before. Fire sprinkler backflow does no have a current inspection tag, backlow needs to be tested and tagged by a licensed backflow tester. Fire sprinkler head next to heater unit in "Future Kitchen" area needs to be changed to a high temp head due to how close the head is to the ceiling mounted heater.

For a cover inspection to be approved I need all of the draft stops installed per plan (one is missing entirely). Insulation in several locations is hanging down and blocking upright sprinkler head coverage. As per a previous request I need approved plans showing the extended coverage sidewalls in the northwest rooms. The overhead hydro test passed but the underground hydro test failed.

Arrived on site and found both the underground and overhead pressure guages way under 200psi. I spoke to Gordon and he is going to reschedule. No plans are on site for a rough-in for the draft stops.

Thrust blocks are installed at the first 45's. All of the rest of the fittings are mechanically secured. The run of pipe from the 90 to the riser has been lowered 3" but is still 3" too high. I spoke to Jim Danes and he is going to follow up on whether they are going to lower the pipe or berm over it.

The underground supply piping is ok to cover up to the first thrust block. Thrust blocks are being mixed by hand and were not done at the time of inspection. I noted that the piping from the 90 to the base of the riser is not at 4'-6" and will need to be buried deeper or landscaping performed to reach the required bury dept.

I also did a basic rough-in inspection on the overhead piping. For the most part everything is complete except for the riser build, eartquake bracing and draft stops required by the upright sprinkler heads. Plans need to be provided to plan review showing the additional fittings and elevation changes as well as the change of piping/heads in the rooms on the west side of the building where sidewalls are now being used. The said sidewalls are installed 3 1/2" below the ceiling so I will need verification they are listed for this.
