The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of three automatic wet standpipes supplied by a 750 Gpm @120 Psi fire pump.
The fire pump is under permit FIR16-00090
The underground piping is under permit FIR16-00040
(MARRIOTT - Shell and Core) Residential hotel with 8 stories of R-1 above a horizontal separation and 2 stories of S-2 parking and a separated A-3 occupancy. Level 1 is 31,830 sq.ft with parking garage and lobby areas. Level 2 is 31,489 sq.ft. of parking garage. Level 3 is 21,737 sq.ft. of sleeping units, pool, fitness center, conference rooms and accessible roof deck. Levels 4-10 are 16,184 sq.ft of sleeping units. Per conversation with architect, penthouse level is unoccupied. Penthouse level has roof mounted mechanical equipment and five enclosed noncombustible interstitial spaces with hatch door access; these shall not be used for storage or any other purpose.
This building is to be fully fire sprinklered with an approved fire alarm system that includes smoke detection and emergency/voice alarm. Additionally building shall have a fire command center, fire and evacuation plan, and emergency responder radio coverage. Separate Fire permits WILL BE REQUIRED.
