TVFP WILL INSTALL A NEW 2 1/2" LOOP CONSISTENT WITH EXISTING SYSTEM THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING AND ADD NEW LINES AND ARM OVERS TO COVER THE NEW TI SPACE PER NFPA 13 2013 FOR LIGHT HAZARD.

Contractor’s Note:
The building permit has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.

(OWYHEE TAVERN – OWYHEE PLACE - 1ST STORY – EAST END OF HISTORIC PORTION) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area, height, and story increase. To prepare an existing 5,067 square foot area within an existing building for occupancy as a bar and as a restaurant. The lower level has a floor area of about 1,950 square feet and the upper level has a floor area of about 3,117 square feet. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended gypsum board ceilings and soffits, a suspended ceiling baffle (wood fins) system, dining booths, a bar, barn style sliding doors, a new interior stairway, a new steel exterior exit stairway, tables and chairs, and interior finishes. Special Inspection is required for welding and for post installed anchors in concrete and/or masonry (i.e. expansion anchors, Titen screws, epoxy anchors, etc.). This restaurant will use the kitchen approved under permit BLD14-00414. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
