Convert the existing warehouse space into retail space. The existing system is designed for high piled storage and has in rack sprinklers. The only modification to the sprinkler system is removing the in rack sprinklers. The remaining upright sprinklers are more than adequate to protect the retail space.
** (SOFA MART) ** This building is fire sprinklered for unlimited area. Permit is to remodel an existing 17,330 sq. ft. retail sales tenant space. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of select interior warehouse demising nonbearing wall to enlarge the retail space, removal of select light fixtures, removal of racking, construction of select interior nonbearing walls to create an electrical room, adding new light fixtures, electrical work, mechanical work and interior finishes to be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. Note: occupant load factor for new retail space area based on plan review report from BLD01-02384 which was set at 1 to 100. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JG**
