ADD/RELOCATE 15 QUICK RESPONSE SPRINKLER HEADS DUE TO THE NEW WALL AND CEILING LOCATIONS.

[BLD16-00679] - The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase. To remodel portions of an existing 10,450 square foot medical office tenant space located on the 2nd story of the St. Luke’s Medical Office Plaza. A 208 square foot nurse’s station will be remodeled, a 194 square foot treatment room will be converted to an office, a 105 square foot office will be converted to an exam room, a nurse’s station and a portion of the waiting room will be converted to a 138 square foot blood draw room, an area will be remodeled to create two work rooms (one 70 square feet and one 67 square feet), and 197 square feet of hallway will be remodeled (979 square feet total). Work includes removing some interior nonbearing walls, constructing some interior nonbearing walls, reversing a door swing, millwork, carpet, sheet vinyl flooring, and finishes. The existing common corridor located outside of this tenant space is not affected by this remodel. The hallway located within this tenant space is not required to be fire-resistance-rated. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
