The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of a NFPA 13R system for a four level apartment building. The system is supplied by 2” underground through a 2” backflow preventer to (4) 2” risers. There are floor level control valves in a valve house. The system piping is CPVC with extended coverage residential sprinklers.

There is a 6” standpipe with (4) 6” risers. Each standpipe riser has (3) hose valves. The FDC is connected to the standpipe per the fire marshal’s office. Each riser has a supervised sectional control valve. The fire marshal’s office has allowed the fire apparatus to supply 1000 Gpm in lieu of the 750 Gpm stated in the Boise Policy.
