[BLD17-00241] - The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for story increase. To prepare an existing 6,673 square foot tenant space (5,222 square feet 1st story and 1,451 square feet 2nd story) for a new bakery and office tenant. This space will be used for producing breads and pastries for catering and for retail locations. There will be no service to the public at this facility. Work is to include a walk-in freezer, walk-in coolers, baking ovens, mixers, work tables, storage racks, and other equipment. Portions of the concrete floor will be removed and replaced to accommodate the installation of under-slab plumbing. Per approval by the Building Official, no more than 30 occupants are allowed in this tenant space since drinking fountains will not be provided. A sign limiting the maximum occupant load to 30 is required to be posted. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
