Underground supply for the fire sprinkler system 6"x 110'± C-900 with necessary fittings and thrust blocks.
[BLD16-04337] - To construct a 27,972 square foot medical office building that will likely have 2 tenants. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete stem walls (concrete slabs on grade will be placed under a future permit), steel columns, steel beams, open web steel roof joists, steel roof deck for flat roofs, prefinished metal roofing for sloping roofs, metal stud exterior walls, Sureboard Series 200 shearwall sheathing attached to metal studs, fiberglass mat sheathing on the exterior side of metal stud walls, rigid insulation installed on top of the flat roof decks, single ply roof membranes, primary roof drains and secondary roof drains, concrete roof slab within the rooftop mechanical equipment screen enclosure, rooftop mechanical equipment screen walls, Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), thin brick exterior veneer, fiber cement exterior siding, exterior windows, exterior doors, automatic sliding doors with break-outs, a suspended acoustical ceiling within the lobby, gypsum soffits within the lobby, and lobby finishes. A generator will be installed in conjunction with this permit. Special Inspection is required for soils, concrete, steel construction including welding and bolting, post installed mechanical concrete anchors, post installed epoxy concrete anchors, and perhaps EIFS. The design for the open web steel roof joists is a deferred submittal item. If this medical building will be used as an Ambulatory Care Facility where individuals are incapable of self-preservation, full compliance with 2012 IBC Section 422 is required to be shown under the future tenant improvement permit applications. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is NOT intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. Separate tenant improvement permits are required to establish occupancy. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
