We will be removing the 2" antifreeze loop protecting the chiller area. The chiller area is having its roof removed and will no longer require sprinkler protection.

[BLD17-00747] - Permit to demo the existing 945 sq. ft. enclosed chiller room and construct a new 1,368 sq. ft. open air chiller plant with an enclosed 37 sq. ft. rated fire riser room within the area at the west end of the existing building. Scope of work includes: removal of select concrete slab, removal of select walls, removal of select roof assembly, removal of select storefront window and infill with 8” CMU, construction of concrete footings, concrete slab, construction of CMU walls, construction of interior non-bearing steel stud rated walls and ceiling to create a fire riser room, new electrical, new plumbing work, new mechanical and interior finishes to be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. Note: Special Inspections Required see form 310. The building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JG**
