INSTALLING APPROXIMATELY 20' OF 8" C900 FROM THE 8" GATE VALVE, BY SUEZ, TO THE RISER ROOM OF BUILDING C AT THE GOWEN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT. AN 8" IBR WILL BE USED TO BRING THE WATER INTO THE BUILDING.

The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To construct a 51,402 square foot building to be used for office, storage, and perhaps fabrication. A total of five (5) tenant spaces separated by potentially 1-hr interior walls with block-out framing for potential future openings will be created. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant or for any portion of this building. Each tenant is required to apply for their own Certificate of Occupancy. Separate permits for racking over 8 feet tall are also required. Work is to include reinforced concrete footings, reinforced concrete tilt-up panels, reinforced concrete slab on grade, recessed concrete floors with dock levelers at some overhead doors, cantilevered canopies, steel columns, open web steel roof girders, open web steel roof joists, steel roof deck, continuous insulation installed on top of the roof deck, a membrane roof covering, skylights, metal screens for roof top mechanical units, roll-up exterior doors, side-hinged swinging exterior doors, steel exterior landings and stairways at the West exit doors, storefront windows, trash enclosures, unoccupied mezzanine above the office area supported by bearing walls, interior nonbearing walls, four toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for soil (excavation and compacted fill), concrete footings (including reinforcing steel), concrete tilt-up panels (including reinforcing steel), anchors post-installed in hardened concrete, and steel (including welding). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the Geotechnical Engineer’s recommendations, with the Structural Calculations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any installation work on such systems. **CJW**
