The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a four level building. The sprinklers are being installed due to an upgrade agreement. The 4” underground supplies a backflow preventer and a riser with floor control valves. The floors have tree type layouts. The construction is steel joise

Permit is to remodel the second and third floor within an existing 24,000 sq. ft. building. There is an update agreement to install fire sprinklers throughout the building and to have a code compliant rated stair enclosure. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work includes: on the 2nd/3rd floors construction of select interior nonbearing walls to create offices, select new door/door frames, select new light fixtures, stair enclosure work to make enclosure 1-hour rated, electrical work, Plumbing work and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building will be fully Fire Sprinklered with the upgrade agreement and shall be installed by 1/1/2018. Occupancy of the third and second floor is contingent on final approval of the building permit and receipt of a signed "Upgrade Agreement" between the building owner and Boise City Building Official & Fire Marshall. **JG**
