The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

• The original Core and Shell is under permit BLD16-04337.

The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for code trade-offs. The building shell was constructed under permit BLD16-04337. The 2012 IBC was in effect at the time. To complete the under-slab waste piping plumbing phase with rough-in stub-ups and trap primers within an 18,074 square foot shell tenant space for 10 single-user toilet rooms, multiple exam room sinks and other sinks, floor sinks, drinking fountains, and floor drains within a future medical office tenant space (i.e. an Outpatient Clinic). A separate plumbing permit is required. All toilet rooms are required to be accessible to the disabled. Under-slab conduit and floor boxes will also be installed. A separate electrical permit is required. Work includes a concrete slab on grade with a vapor barrier and stem wall and slab edge insulation. The rest of the tenant improvement work will be done under a future tenant improvement permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant or for any portion of this building. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
