This building is fire sprinklered for building area increase. Permit is to remodel an existing 28,156 sq. ft. business tenant previously occupied by Brown Makie College under BLD09-00566 which occupied two floors and this permit will be reducing square footage and new tenant to use only the 2nd floor, this occupied tenant space is to be 14,672 sq. ft. on the second floor and the remaining vacant space on the 1st floor is to be 10,940 sq. ft. under BLD18-01807. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of select 1st floor lobby storefront interior doors and windows and construct a nonbearing demising wall, construction of a nonbearing demising wall on the 2nd floor to separate the faculty room from staff offices, relocating an existing sink to be able to add an additional sink in the men’s and women’s restroom, plumbing work and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the current IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JG**
