The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a two level building. The bottom level is larger than the top level. The building is primarily a school. Install a new 6" c900 UG to a 2 story combustible construction building. The UG will connect to a 4" backflow which feeds two 4" riser manifolds. The FDC will be run to the front of the building at an accessible place. All steel pipe shall be used. Open to structure areas will have brass uprights. Conference rooms and entry locations shall have concealed heads. All other heads shall be chrome semi-recessed. Most rooms shall be light hazard. Some rooms shall be ordinary group II depending on combustibles.

Permit for a new 36-foot-tall, 31,828 sq.ft., 2 story building of type V-B construction. This facility will include a chapel/auditorium, classrooms, day care and offices. This building is required to be fully fire sprinklered and includes a fire alarm system. Separate fire sprinkler and fire alarm permits will be required for the required fire protection systems; as regulated by the Fire Department. CDM/SJA

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.
