I discussed with Andrew the requirements for NFPA 20, A.4.15.6, 4.12.1.3, ball drip in the test header line and piping the relief valve

Not ready for hydro test due to modifications needed. I noted that the below mezzanine piping is not controled separately as per Boise Fire Prevention Code Chapter 12; 5-12-51 "Floor Control". Also it appears a control valve on the discharge side of the fire pump "note 22" has not been installed. I need to contact plan review on other items listed in NFPA 20 that may need to be addressed.

Apparently the fire pump certification was performed without a Boise City Representative present as required per NFPA 20 14.2.2. I requested to be present several times to the onsite sprinkler fitter and the general contractor.

The sprinkler piping above the hardlids on the first floor, Entry Lobby/Restrooms, is ok for cover. See the city approved plans for locations as marked "ok". We also spoke about obstructions to the ESFR heads and the solid shelf racking possibly being a problem.

Todays inspection was for the first floor hardlids. Piping can not be covered because the approved plans show 1 1/4" starters but 1" has been installed. Also no branchline restraints have been installed. There were no small documents or notes on site. I appears the trapeze bracing attachment rods are too small.
