(MK PLAZA I - BUILDING UPGRADE) The future fire sprinkler system is used to partially resolve life safety concerns about the existing atrium. To complete Phase 2, 3rd floor of a phased project to fully comply with an approved NFPA 13 system with the addition/upgrade of the 3rd Floor. The project is in correlation to modify an existing building to comply with required code upgrades. Work shall comply with the approved drawings and specifications. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Each future phase remodel requires a separate permit. The entire sprinkler project, including future work, is approved to be in accordance with 1997 NFPA and UFC 1994 standards.
