All demolition work per demolition plan to include: Patch and repair existing walls as required; Demolition of specific interior walls and doors; Remove existing floor finishes, clean and repair for new. New work to include: Construct new interior rated walls and lid for Fire Riser room; Remove an existing window and re-install so that operable sash can be opened from inside the smaller room; Post occupant load signage; replace select existing doors to change swing direction; Add panic hardware to exterior patio gate; Add wall opening headers at new wall openings; Add new window at classroom art area; Add new suspended ceiling at areas designated on plans; Add new interior and exterior lighting; new emergency lighting; and all other misc. work noted on plans. Accessible bathrooms are existing. A new certificate of occupancy with the new occupant load total is to be issued when completed and approved. NOTE: this entire building to receive installation of an Automatic Fire Sprinkler system per NFPA 13.
